Discount codes are a great way to win more bookings, and they give your clients an extra reason to say yes, while still letting you control when and how much you discount. To get started, we're going to go to manage discount codes. And you'll see I have a 20% off and a 30% off, but we're going to make a new discount code. And we're
0:23 going to call it August 10th. And you can create a description if you'd like to explaining what the discount is. And you can either do since this is August 10, we're going to do either $10 off for a flat rate or we can do a 10% off. And you can choose what this discount applies to to each specific item or entire package and add-ons or the complete booking. Let's do the complete booking.
0:52 And let's give a date that this is good till and let's say the end of August. And you can make this for the book date, the date for the event that is booked, or the scheduled event date. Choose the valid days of the week. And you can allow your customers to redeem this code on proposals. And you can even set a maximum number of redemptions. If you leave this blank,
1:11 it's an unlimited number of redemptions. Or if you wanted the first 10 people that have this discount code, and after those 10, no more discount. You can choose which package this applies to. So, if you only wanted to do this for your photo booth business, you can do that or select which packages get this discount. You can also choose which add-ons gets this discount and which
1:33 backdrops. So, let's create that coupon. And if we go into this discount that we just made, you can see there's a link on the bottom that you can send to your customers or even show a QR code. So, if you were sharing this on your social media sites or anything like that, they could scan this QR code and get that discount code. So, when your customers get to the checkout portion, they can
1:56 enter in the discount code right here and redeem it. Now, that that discount is applied. You'll see the discount code right here and how much was taken off of their bill. They can either pay the total or the deposit and continue to the next step. And that's how you make a discount code and check Jerry.
