0:00 In this video, we're going to show you how to add a staff member to your Check Cherry account. Adding a staff member is a great way to delegate tasks, assign events, and give your team access to the tools they need without sharing your main login. So, to get started, we're going to go to manage user accounts. And you'll see on this top portion, you have all users, staff, admins,
0:21 and customers. All users is all of your customers, your admins, your staff, everything. Under staff, you have everybody associated with the Check Cherry business side. If you go to admins, you'll see all of the admins that are available. Under any one of these options, go to add new user. We're going to add a new staff member. And you can add any kind of address, city,
0:46 zip, bio, private notes, anything like that. And on your right, you'll see that you can upload a file or choose the media library for a primary image for like a profile image. And under roles, this is where you're going to assign this user to a specific category. Yes, allow this user to log in is always checked because you you want your users to be able to log in. Now,
1:10 if you wanted to make them an admin, if there's if they are somebody you trust or somebody that's running the business with you, choose admin. or if they're a customer, you can add them to your uh to your user database as well if you need to manually add a customer. But today, we're going to add a staff member. And you'll see that you have a couple different options to choose from
1:32 here. You have bookings, extended permissions, which basically lets the team member see pricing messages, make edits to bookings, and see a little bit more than the normal staff member. On the second one, all staff members can only see bookings they're assigned to, unless you were to check this box. Um, then they can see all of the bookings that have been assigned to different
1:56 staff members. If you wanted to allow them to manage leads or create proposals, adjust pricing, and message your clients, then you can check that box right here. And under checkout right here, you'll see that you can show the staff member when a customer is booking online so that they can see this staff member and choose them. You can also choose a specific package that you want this staff
2:20 member to be under. So if they are not a DJ or a mobile bar and they just wanted to be in photo booth, you can add them there. We're going to leave this just a base staff member and show you what that account looks like. And once you create this staff account, you'll be able to send them login instructions. And you'll see below here, you'll see the basic information that you put in,
2:41 the staff role, what their permissions are, and what they can do. And you can edit their availability from your end as the admin or they can log in and set their availability as well. So under edit user, you'll see that you have a few actions you can take with the staff member. You can assign a customer role or remove staff role and even enable enhanced scheduling. You
3:08 can edit the user, reset their password, show a schedule, set availability, or even archive the user if they're no longer with you. Now, from your end, I'm going to assign Sally to this booking. Let's scroll down here and see Sally right here. And you can give her a role for this booking. It's pre-filled as a photo booth attendant, but you can name it anything you'd like. So,
3:37 we're going to assign that staff. And you'll see that Sally is a staff member for this booking. She can see this assigned booking that has been assigned to her. And she will get an automated message and an email saying that she has been assigned a booking. And that's how you assign and give permissions to staff members in Check Cherry.
