Referrals

0:00 in this video we're going to cover the referrals feature of Czech cherry we designed this feature to help make it easy to track who referred business to you and you can associate referrals based on booking proposal or lead any user account can be the referrer so that might be a customer or client account a staff

0:24 or team member account or no roles at all and the reason you might have no roles for example let's say you're working with a venue and they're not either a customer or a staff member but they do prefer business okay let's take a look at manually assigning referrals right now I'm logged in as an admin and I'm looking at Bing Crosby's booking it's been confirmed and let's say

0:47 I find out after the fact that I need to associate this to a referral source just look for the referred by panel or card and go ahead and click that it works just like assigning a staff member and you can go ahead and find the referral source and so again this is a user account so it's Jimmy great and so now Jimmy has been associated with this booking as the referral source

1:14 okay now I'm looking at a lead and we'll just go ahead and edit the lead and look for that referred by a panel and start typing and there's Jim so we'll save him and so now Jim has been Associated to as the referral source of this lead keep in mind if this becomes a proposal and then a booking the data that Jim was the source of the business will be passed along so

1:43 you won't lose that okay I'm going to show you how you can automatically assign referrals to bookings again any user account can be the source of a referral and so here I'm looking at Alice's and if I show user at the very bottom there's a referral link and this will go to the top of your online booking engine and so basically Alice can hand this link out to others or share it online

2:10 and anybody who clicks that link and makes a booking or generates a proposal or lead that will basically be associated with Atlas and so let's also take a look maybe um you can show you what Alice sees when she logs into her account and so you can do that with this impersonate feature so I can impersonate Alice okay now here I am and if you have the referral tracking settings turned on

2:42 um staff and customer accounts will have this refer link right here and so this will give them a link you can also adjust the text to this page and share it with people and I'll show you how to do that in the next section but basically if they just share this link with people anybody who books after using that link will be automatically Associated as the referral partner

3:08 okay let's take a look at the referral tracking setup process it's really easy basically under business settings there's a referrals Tab and what you're going to want to do is just say yes I would like to enable referral tracking and from here what you'll see is the staff referral page and then you can put content in there in the customer referral page
