Check Cherry Capital
How business financing through Stripe Capital works with Check Cherry.
Check Cherry Capital — Financing Disclosure
1. Check Cherry's role
Check Cherry is the platform through which an eligible user may receive and accept a financing offer. Check Cherry is not a lender, bank, or financial institution. Check Cherry does not underwrite, approve, fund, or service any financing, and does not determine eligibility, amounts, fees, or terms. Those are determined solely by Stripe Capital and its financing partners.
2. The lender and financing partner
In the US, Stripe Capital loans are issued by Celtic Bank, and YouLend provides Stripe Capital merchant cash advances. Your financing is a legal agreement between you and the applicable financing partner, governed by the terms presented to you at the time of your offer and by Stripe Capital's terms.
3. Eligibility
Eligibility is determined by Stripe Capital based on factors like your payment volume and history, and not all businesses are eligible. If you are eligible, Stripe Capital will present an offer. Check Cherry makes no representation or guarantee that you will be offered financing, or any particular amount or terms.
4. Applications and credit
All financing applications are subject to review prior to approval. Applying for financing through Stripe Capital might require a personal credit check, but this credit check won't affect your personal credit score.
5. Repayment
Financing is repaid through a portion of your sales. Stripe Capital loans have a minimum amount due each payment period; if your sales don't meet the minimum, the remaining amount is automatically debited at the end of the period, as described in the disclaimer below.
6. Questions
For questions about an offer, eligibility, approval, or repayment, contact Stripe Capital, which underwrites and services all financing. For questions about accessing Check Cherry Capital within your account, contact Check Cherry support at support@checkcherry.com.
