0:00 This is the Chick Cherry app for owners and admins. Here's how to run your business from your phone. Log in and you land on the dashboard. At the top you'll see next up, which is your week at a glance. Confirmed bookings shows what you booked in the last week and what's coming up in the next week. Proposals show what you added and what's about to expire. Leads show what came in over the last week. Mins and appointments show what's scheduled in the next week.

0:28 Staff scheduling shows how many bookings still have nobody assigned. Awaiting response tracks assignments waiting on an answer, and time off requests shows how many are waiting on your approval. You can scroll down for different tools such as calendar, which shows your bookings, proposals, and leads. Checklist is where you find checkoff tasks. Message center is where you review and reply to messages, expense tracking lists your expenses, and check availability tells you if a date, time, and package is open. The plus button in the lower right is add item. Use it to create a proposal, booking, lead, appointment, block out date, or expense. The menu in the top right gets you to bookings, proposals, leads, calendar, and settings.

1:14 The search bar at the top finds bookings, leads, and more. Tap confirmed bookings to see upcoming events. For past ones, tap the down arrow next to show all filters, then tap past. Filters sort by date and narrow by brand. Package status, assign staff, and more. Tap set filters when you're done. Need the same booking again? Open it.

1:38 Tap the settings gear, and tap duplicate. Set the new date and status. You can pick proposal date reserved, proposal date open, or confirmed awaiting signature. Now for notifications, tap Allow when you first log in to choose what you get. Open the menu and tap Settings. As an admin, you can turn on any of them. If you narrow the list, those are the only ones you'll get. Booking, proposal, and lead alerts go to every admin.

2:07 Now your team, time off requests show what's waiting on you, approve or reject right from the app. Whether requests need approval is a setting in business settings on the web under availability, then staff. That same page is where you turn on staff check-in and check out. You'll see each shift with notes, photos, and hours on the bookings check-ins page and in the staff check-in reports. User management is where you manage admins, staff, and customers. You also set what each staff member can see. By default, that's their assigned bookings, client info, event details, and notes. See all bookings opens up every confirmed booking.

2:48 Extended permissions adds pricing, add-ons, venue details, private notes, and taking payments, and sales lets them work leads and send proposals. Now payments, as an admin, you can see balances and collect payments. Open the booking, tap the outstanding balance, and tap collect customer payment. Enter the amount, then type in the card or tap scan card. Tap continue to process it. Tap to pay is faster, and it runs on Check cherry payments for US accounts. Not on it yet? Connected in payment settings.

3:21 You set it up once as an owner or admin. Your iPhone needs an XS or later on iOS 18 or later. Android needs version 13 or later with NFC on. A Google certified device that isn't routed, and a security update from the last 12 months. Both need the latest app. To take a payment, open the booking and tap Collect customer payment. Tap to pay is the first option. Enter the amount, a tip if there is one, and the client's email for the receipt.

3:54 Tap continue to tap. On iPhone, the client holds their card, phone, or watch near the top of the phone. On Android, the card goes flat against the back near the top. If your account passes processing fees to customers, you'll see a check box on the amount screen. Leave it checked to add the fee to the client's total or unchecked to absorb it. And that's it. That's the owner's side of the Check Cherry app. If you ever have any questions, feel free to reach out to our support staff.

4:21 We'll always be glad to help you.
