2 Factor Authentication in Check Cherry
Your Check Cherry account holds client info, contracts, and payment records, so it’s worth protecting with more than a password. In this video we walk through turning on two-factor authentication (2FA) from your profile. Once it’s on, logging in takes your password plus a code texted to your phone, so a stolen password alone won’t get anyone in.
Setup takes about a minute. If you have staff, each person turns on 2FA from their own profile, and anyone with admin access should have it enabled.
Use a phone number you’ll always have access to. If you ever lose access to that number, reach out through the chat bubble in the lower right of your account and our support team will help you get back in.

Click your name in the upper right corner and go to my profile. Scroll down to more options on the right side of the page, click two-factor authentication. Enter your phone number, we'll text you a code, type it in, and you're set. From now on, logging in takes your password plus a code sent to your phone. So even if someone gets your password, they still can't get in. If you have staff, each person turns this on from their own.
