Once a client books with you, they might want to change add-ons, reschedule, or even cancel. The Change Policy lets you set the rules for what clients can modify and when — so you stay in control without manually managing every request.
Online Booking Settings
These control when clients can book through your online booking flow:
- Minimum lead time: How far in advance clients must book (e.g., at least 3 days before the event)
- Maximum lead time: The furthest out you'll accept bookings (prevents bookings years in advance)
Proposal Settings
These control what clients can modify before accepting a proposal:
- Add/remove add-ons: Whether clients can modify add-ons before accepting (can be overridden per proposal)
- Add/remove extras: Whether clients can modify extras before accepting
- Choose backdrop: Whether clients can select their backdrop before accepting
Confirmed Bookings Settings
These are the most important settings — they control what happens after a client has signed and paid:
- Allow changes: Whether clients can make any changes to confirmed bookings
- Change deadline: How many days before the event clients can still make changes
- Cancellation deadline: How many days before the event clients can cancel
- Questionnaire unlock deadline: How many days before the event clients can reopen submitted questionnaires
Questionnaire Settings
Controls when clients can modify their planning questionnaires after submission. Use the unlock deadline to prevent last-minute changes that could disrupt your event preparation.
