How do I switch to Check Cherry Payments?

Ready to start accepting credit card payments through Check Cherry? The built-in payment processing means everything lives in one place — booking, contract, and payment. Clients sign and pay in a single flow without bouncing between platforms.

Why Use Check Cherry Payments?

If you're currently using a separate payment processor or collecting payments manually, Check Cherry Payments eliminates the back-and-forth. No more copying payment info between systems or chasing down clients who didn't complete checkout on an external site.

  • Accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay
  • ACH bank transfers for lower fees on large payments
  • Klarna buy-now-pay-later option
  • Automatic payment tracking — no manual entry
  • Built-in payment plans with auto-pay
  • Processing fee: 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction

Getting Started

ManagePayment Settings
Go to Payment Settings.
Click Enable Payment Processing.
Follow the prompts to create your account — you'll need your business info, bank account for payouts, and a form of ID for verification.
Once verified, you're ready to accept payments.
Your first payout may take up to 7 business days while your account is verified. After that, payouts arrive in 2-3 business days.

If You're Switching from Another Processor

You can enable Check Cherry Payments alongside your existing processor. Existing bookings continue using whatever payment method was set up. New bookings will use Check Cherry Payments. There's no need to switch everything at once.

Let your current bookings finish on the old processor and start all new bookings on Check Cherry Payments. This avoids any disruption to existing payment plans.
