Some clients prefer to pay from their bank account instead of a credit card, especially for larger balances. ACH transfers have lower processing fees too.
ACH payments have lower fees than credit cards, but they take 5-7 business days to process instead of 2-3. Consider this for your payment timing and cash flow.
Enabling ACH
Manage → Payment Settings
Go to Payment Settings.
Click Add a Payment.
Select ACH Direct Deposit.
What Clients See
When customers book, they'll see a Bank Account option on the payment screen alongside credit card.
Bank Account Verification
For security, clients need to verify their bank account before the payment goes through. They can choose one of two methods:
- Instant verification — They log into their online banking through a secure connection to verify the account immediately
- Micro-deposits — Two small deposits (under $1) are sent to their account, and they confirm the amounts within a few days
Most clients choose instant verification because it's faster and they can complete their payment right away.
