Design templates let clients pick their style from your curated options — photo booth layouts, invitation designs, or album covers. When they make a selection, both you and the client get automatic email notifications to keep the workflow moving smoothly.
How the notifications work
The system sends different emails at different stages:
- Selection confirmation — tells the client their choice was received
- Approval request — notifies you when a client picks a template
- Revision notification — updates when changes are requested
These notifications are enabled by default and are part of the design approval workflow, so both sides stay in sync without manual follow-up.
Customizing the email templates
You can edit the wording and timing of these notifications to match your brand voice.
Automated Messages → System Templates
Go to the System Templates tab.
Find the design template notification you want to edit.
Customize the subject line and message content.
Save your changes.
Keep the notification emails brief and clear. Clients just need to know their selection was received and what happens next.
