How do I create message templates?

Message templates save you time on common responses. Instead of typing the same follow-up email or event details repeatedly, you create it once and reuse it. Templates automatically fill in booking-specific details like client names, event dates, and package information.

Creating a Template

ManageAutomated Messages
Go to Automated Messages.
Click New Automated Message.
Scroll to the bottom and select Message Template.
Create your email template and click Save.

Template Settings

Packages and Brands

By default, templates are available for all bookings and proposals. You can limit a template to specific packages or brands using the settings on the right side of the template editor. This is useful if you have different messaging for different services.

Review Before Sending

Templates send immediately by default. If you want to review each message before it goes out, change the setting to Yes under Review Messages. Messages awaiting review appear under Sales → Review Messages.

Dynamic Values

Templates can include dynamic values that automatically fill in booking-specific information like client names, event dates, package names, and pricing. Copy and paste the dynamic value fields directly into your email template. When you send the message, Check Cherry replaces them with the actual booking details.

Using Your Template

From any booking or proposal, click New Message → Manual Message and select the template you want to use. The template populates with all dynamic values filled in automatically.
