0:00 In this video, we're going to cover manual messages. Manual messages give you the flexibility to handle unique situations while still keeping everything logged in. To check Cherry, there are two ways you can get to your messages. You can go to an upcoming booking, go to manage, overview, and right up here to messages. You'll see these are dropped because we're using example emails,

0:22 so it's not sending anywhere. And you'll see that this is an automated message letting the client know that we wanted to remind them about them needing to choose a backdrop for their upcoming booking. Now, if you wanted to send a manual message, you can either reply to email to keep it in the same thread, or you can go back to messages, click new email or new text

0:43 message if you've incorporated your number with Twilio, or even a quick send option. If we click new email, you'll see it opens up a new email with a different email thread. You can create the subject and even pick a manual message template that you've created or you can enter the message manually. You can also add links or images and you can even add attachments. Now we

1:08 can view our templates by going underneath the template section in the message view templates and creating a new template or you could go to manage message templates or you can create a new template and you can either choose from pre-built templates or proposal message templates any kind of template you would like. We're going to go to pre-built templates and you can send

1:31 a customer a photo album link or create a new one from scratch. Let's say we just wanted to send them a photo album link. You'll see that it gives us a description here. You can either send a text message or an email, client account or your staff, any kind of business contacts or event contacts. And you can give a sender. So you can give it to the admin of your account,

1:54 another staff member or anything like that. It'll even give you a subject with the event title already incorporated in there and a message knowing who the recipient is supposed to be, the event photo album link, and the event photo album instructions along with your brand signature. You can include any attachments in this and then save it. And you can edit this however you'd like.

2:30 You can also pick the booking that you would like it to go to. So let's say we go to the sales messages. This will bring you to any messages that are awaiting review from you to go ahead and send the email, any scheduled messages, and even your message history. Now, let's say we head back into Jane's booking. Go to overview messages.

2:54 and send a new email. We can now click the template that we made and send her this message manually. All messages will be within your email client and check Cherry. So, you can reply in either platform. You can also send later and give a date and a time of when you want this actually sent out. Now, that is scheduled to be sent out. Now, I know we've talked about manual messages,

3:25 but we also have an automated messages option. And if you want to see a video detailing that, it'll be in the description below. Feel free to check it out. And as always, if you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our support staff. We'll be glad to help

Let's make happier clients together.
