How do I test the booking process?

Before you send your first real proposal or launch your online booking, walk through the process yourself. You'll catch layout issues, confusing steps, and missing information before a client does.

Create New

Creating Test Records

The Create New button in the top navigation lets you create test versions of anything in your business — proposals, bookings, leads, sessions, and appointments.

Click Create New in the top navigation.
Select what you want to test: Proposal, Booking, Lead, Mini Session, or Appointment.
Fill in realistic test details and complete the process.
Review how everything looks from the client's perspective.
Delete the test record when you're done.

Testing Online Booking

For online booking specifically, you have two options:

  • Start the online booking process from the Create New menu — this runs you through the full client experience
  • Preview your booking page by visiting your booking URL directly (get it from your Package settings)
Test with realistic details — a real event date, typical add-ons, and actual pricing. This gives you the most accurate preview of what clients will see.
Remember to delete test records after reviewing them. They'll clutter your dashboard and could affect your reports if left in the system.
