How do I add my contract/terms?

A contract protects both you and your client by setting clear expectations about what you'll deliver, when payment is due, and what happens if plans change. In Check Cherry, every booking includes a digital contract that clients sign electronically.

Adding Your Contract

ManageBusiness SettingsTerms
Copy your existing contract text.
Paste it into the contract editor.
Add dynamic values like client name and event date using the tokens from the right sidebar.
Click Save.

Using Dynamic Values

You can personalize contracts with client names, event dates, package details, and other booking information. Copy the tokens from the sidebar and paste them into your contract where you want the dynamic content to appear.

You can only use the tokens provided in the sidebar — you cannot create custom tokens by typing terms inside {{ }}.

Package-Specific Terms

Different services sometimes need different contract language. A photo booth rental might need different liability terms than DJ services. Use optional sections to add terms that only appear when specific packages are booked.

Click Create optional section in the right sidebar.
Give it a descriptive name and create a token.
Write the contract language that applies only to specific packages, or paste in the pre-typed text in the body of the optional terms.
Click Edit and select which packages will trigger these terms.
Copy the token and paste it into your main contract where you want these terms to appear.

When a client books a package that has optional terms assigned, those terms will automatically appear in their contract.

You can also use optional sections to create entirely separate contracts for different service types. Create an optional section for each contract and use the tokens to include the appropriate terms.

Counter-Signing Contracts

If you need both parties to sign the contract, you can add your signature after the client signs.

Go to the booking and click the Manage Booking button.
Select Edit Contract Terms.
Click the Add Counter Signature button on the contract.

Your signature will be added to the contract and immediately visible to the client when they view their booking.

Customizing Terms for Individual Bookings

Sometimes you need to modify the contract terms for a specific booking or proposal. You can edit the terms without changing your master contract template.

Go to Bookings or Proposals and open the one you want to edit.
Click Manage Booking, then Edit Contract Terms.
Make your changes and click Save.
