How do I add an availability calendar to my website?

Some businesses prefer to start with availability as their main call to action. While we think most people are thinking about pricing and what's included rather than just dates, an embedded availability calendar can be part of your mix of ways to direct visitors to your online booking.

Getting the Embed Code

ManageWebsite Integration
Go to Website Integration.
Find Booking Availability Calendar and click Get Embed Code.

Customize Your Calendar Widget

Choose a Style

  • Link Only — A simple text link that opens the calendar in a new window
  • Embed on my site — The full calendar appears directly on your webpage

Custom Messages

You can customize the messages that appear when visitors check a date:

  • Available message — What to show when you're free on that date
  • Unavailable message — What to show when you're already booked

You can use the default text or write your own custom messages in the boxes provided.

Advanced Options

Book Now Button

Choose whether to show a "Book Now" button when a date is available:

  • Yes — Links directly to your Check Cherry booking page
  • Yes, but redirect to a custom URL — Links to your own contact form or booking page
  • No — Just shows availability, no booking link

If you choose to redirect to a custom URL, you can also customize the button text.

Packages to Display

Select which packages the calendar should check availability for. If you only want to show availability for weddings, for example, select just your wedding packages.

Compatibility Mode

Enable this option if you're having trouble with the calendar displaying correctly on your website. Compatibility mode embeds the widget within an iframe for better compatibility with some website builders.

Most website builders work fine without compatibility mode, but if your calendar isn't displaying properly, try enabling this option.

Adding to Your Website

Configure all your widget settings.
Copy the embed code provided.
Paste it into your website wherever you want the calendar to appear.

The exact steps for adding the code depend on your website platform. Most website builders have an "HTML" or "Embed Code" block you can use.
