How do I add an extra design template to one booking?

You do not have to build a Design Collection to send a client artwork. When you have already discussed the look, or the design was created outside Check Cherry, you can upload artwork straight to a single booking. It adds a design to that one booking without touching your collections for everyone else.

This is the custom path. The artwork still runs through the normal review loop, the client approves it or requests a revision, just without picking from a library first.
ManageBookingsSelect a booking
Open the booking and click the Designs tab.
Click Start New Design.
Choose whether to pull a template from an existing Design Collection or upload your own custom artwork for this booking.
Give the design a clear name so the client knows what they are approving.

Three ways to use it

Upload one version for approval

Upload a single piece of artwork. The client reviews it and either approves it or requests a revision. This is the most direct way to get one design signed off.

Upload a few versions and let the client choose

Add more than one artwork version to the design and the client approves the one they like best. Great when you have a couple of directions to offer and do not need a full collection. If you would rather present a polished library of options, see Offering the client a choice in the design collections guide.

Upload the finished artwork

If the design was completed outside Check Cherry, or by another company managing the booking, upload the final file so it is recorded on the booking. Use this when the artwork is already done and does not need to run through client review.

This only affects this one booking. To offer something to every future booking, add it to your Design Collections instead, see How designs and design collections work.
